The wind remembers the false land:
tricks of the light may be repeated

Every hand leaves ink imprints
speaks a regenerative language

I remember what I was:
open and close
this full stop with wings

The city at a distance is sieved out glitter.
The iron-splashed stars
fly in/out  of squiffy relics

I caught tongues down my throat.
No new bites. 

All this happened, more or less.



Verse Kraken is now well and truly launched! We suggest you dip into its gorgeous tentacles soon.

We have no hardcopies left (apart from those we are posting to contributors, don’t panic if you are one!) so here are a few pictures of its insides.

We are launching issue 2 of Verse Kraken tomorrow at the Dogstar in Brixton. The hard-copy versions of the magazine are extremely limited so this is your only chance to grab a copy for yourself.
